The Video Turing Test is a collaborative research project aimed at developing artificial intelligence capable of human-level understanding of videos.
To understand a simple video, the machine needs vision that can distinguish meaningful actions from the meaningless,
a hearing ability that can differentiate sound from noise, and reasoning ability to understand the time span.
In order for a machine to understand a video, it needs to have human-level intelligence in the domains
of vision, hearing, language comprehension and reasoning.
AIIS researchers of multiple disciplines are participating in this project to conduct a comprehensive research.
